2.Start :- Control Panel . The Control Panel appears
3.Click Network and Internet link. The Network and Sharing Center windows appears.
4.In the Task Manger pane Manage Network Connection.The Network connection windows appears.
5.Select the appropriate Local Area connection to change the setting
6.Click the display additional commands button given below the address bar.
7.Click change setting of this connection Technology from the list, the local Area connection properties dialog box appears.
8.From this connection use the following item list select Internet Protocol version 4(TCP/IPv4).
9.Click the properties button. The Internet Protocol System Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties dialog box appears.
1.Select the Use the following IP address option.
11.Enter the appropriate IP address text box.

12.Enter the appropriate subnet mask address in the subnet mask text box.

13.Enter the appropriate default gateway address in the default gateway text box.

LAB 2 :-
1. To Configure a proxy setting in client computer:
2.Select Tool-Internet option. The Internet option dialog box appears
3.Click connection tab. the connection tab appears.
4.Click the LAN setting button.the local area Network (LAN) Setting dialog box appears
READ IMPORTANT:-
When are connected to our network then to use proxy server to access the internet. If we want to access local address (our Intrant) then we have to specify this in the exception list so it will the proxy server.
Since this list of internal address is very long (It is even impossible to get complete list of address)we have to use wildcard to specify the local addresses for which the proxy server should not be used e. g. vchost.blogspot.com
5.Select the use a proxy server for your LAN check box. The Address and the port text box.
6.Write the address you entered in the Address text box.
7.Write the port number you entered in the port text box.
8.Click OK.The internet Option dialog box reappears.
